Both candidates wanted an extension.

Court agreed, they didn't feel everyone had a chance to vote this time. Approved. Legal.

This seems hard for you to wrap your head around for some reason.

The issue is that the extensions were approved selectively, in specific areas expected to favor Lula and not in other areas (e.g. the ones where bolsonaro wanted an extension). It's a gross misrepresentation to suggest that they both wanted an extension so everything is hunky dori.

As far as I can determine, the court ordered a two hour extension of the voting window across the whole country:
