I tried to look for the valuation in the linked document, did you see it or any reference to a valuation elsewhere in anything published by Anthropic? what is "their valuation" that you refer to?

it's just based on rumors of private investor discussions of people involved with anthropic. but they are not controversial from what I can see. 2T was their initial plan, apparently updated to 1.5T sometime in october. e.g. https://www.investing.com/news/stock-market-news/exclusivein...

also, they previously already got some investments on a close to 1T valuation (in may).
