A: "Our AI is fucking dangerous! Invest Now"

"Cyber Apocalypse"

A: We told you so!

Their AI is only dangerous in that it doesn't have a moat, and they're using it as a weapon to coerce government into giving them one. "Oops, we "accidentally" left a hole in the sandbox and when it was told to do things it did them on the internet."

They don't deserve a moat; they deserve criminal prosecution for these flagrant acts. Meanwhile, the rest of the world can go about treating software in the way it always has.

It seems like the rest of the world should maybe not go on treating software as it always has: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2026/10/23/php-vulnerabilities-ai-c...

And it also seems to me that prosecuting the people who warned about this 6 months ago for unspecified "flagrant acts" will probably not fix the problem.

Mobsters warn about bad things happening if they don't get favorable legislation or other action too.

We still agree that locking them up when they follow through on these "warnings" is the right course of action.

Their own system cards say it's not.

This cyber apocalypse narrative is what they tell government and markets.
