Touché. Looks like both our sides got hit with the same issue: smug overconfidence before a "guaranteed" win. Your own satisfaction is earned.

This doesn't undo the earlier win though. It's the supreme court I care about, not Lula. If the senate gets the supreme court impeachments out, it's still an unprecedented win in my book. There's a chance we can both win here.

Ultimately both winning is consensus finding in democracy. It should never be absolute on either side.

It is a fact that Lula promised to reform the supreme court. I witnessed that myself, it's in his 2nd round campaign materials.

I was smugly awaiting his exit from power just a few days ago.

If he reforms the supreme court as promised, I'll call him my president.
