A bit of realism is that there's a very well established anti-nuclear popular movement on the left, which has existed for decades. As long as we have access to history books and photos from the past, there is no use denying this.

Germany recently finished their complete dismantlement of the nations nuclear power. Another nuclear country Sweden, has shut down seven of their reactors, but are at least rhetorically changing back to supporting nuclear.

Go and talk in real life with people on the left and you'll find many of them are against nuclear power. Go and talk in real life with people on the right and it will be hard for you to find anybody who is against solar power. Because why would you be against solar?

Opposition to specific power technologies is not opposition to power technologies. How difficult is this to grasp?

Nobody said that. You're frustrating yourself against an imaginary argument.

You were using the example of "left" opposition to nuclear power as a complete or partial refutation to my point that there really is no or very little "left" opposition to power technology.

That is opposition to a power technology. Not opposition to all power technology.

I did not interpret "power sources" as singular in your original remark:

> The demands to remove power sources come from the left.

Maybe I write too much like a journalist, but you've misunderstood that sentence. It would read "remove all power sources" if I wanted to say that.

I also wouldn't have written "remove a power source", since there are movements on the left against several different power sources, including nuclear and coal and maybe more. In the context of this discussion we might however stick to just talking about nuclear and solar.
