Software engineers in a good chunk of Europe/US/Canada/Australia make 6 figure salaries, of course they can easily afford an iPad Mini.

Yep. That’s pretty much common knowledge at this point. What I’m surprised about is reading someone not-at-all-humble brag about it.

Keep looking at your feet, you might find the point there someday.

The point isn’t the money. It’s the value.

Is that easier for you to understand? Perhaps I should refute my own argument since you are having trouble getting to a point in which you can agree or disagree?

I don't know about the US, but not even FANGs pay six figure salaries to most of their European employees. Perhaps L7 and up.
