As noted in the article, the feedback form says:

So I'm not sure why this is being posted to HN. This is nothing new, and nothing not known by anyone who has ever provided feedback.

Reading all the comments here, most of us didn’t knew and this is the right place to post this. I have not met a single person who have ready any privacy policies.

It's not a privacy policy. The line I quoted is literally the majority of the text on the form, directly above the submit button: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/lupk8zyo/1486988786/c0...
