Apple killed M6 Pro, M6 Ultra and M6 Max to focus on AI chip, so yeah that'd be a more sensible option.

More on the curse side, tbh. Mostly because RAM and flash chips have exploded in price and fabs get now booked by NVIDIA et al where previously Apple was the biggest dog and could demand better conditions.
But well, they'll survive :) Their M-series was a stroke of luck considering AI.
This is the first time I’ve ever kept a computer this long and never really felt like it needed to be upgraded. I suppose this is a bit of a gift and a curse for Apple.
