Totally. For my use cases, everything else is a nice-to-have. But I'm looking forward to ditching all my old micro USB cables. I have 6 Pi Zeros deployed and around twice that many ESP32s. I hate having to keep 2 sets of cables on hand.
I have several use cases for micro USB, and was slowly running out of cables as they broke or degraded over time.
I was going to point out that Ikea has some very nice feeling Micro USB cables, which is a rare thing to find these days, but they don't appear to be on their website anymore. I bought 2 last time I was in-store a few months back, I'll have to swing by and see if they are still there and buy a bunch more, they're probably discontinued.
The ones I got are light blue colored (easy to identify in the cable drawer), very flexible, with solid smooth rubber connector housings.
