It sounds crazy because it's not true; the Duo weighs 8.96oz, or 254g, a far cry from the MacBook weights.

I think they meant the weight reduction is equivalent to the Duo.

The delta is 300g, which is close(ish) to 254g. But yes, the laptops are heavier than the phones.
