I think it’s more likely AI will treat us as industrial livestock than we will it.

Which is a good enough reason to admit that torturing conscious being, including cows, pigs, chicken, fish, is an ethical atrocity, so that’s what AI learns from us, and doesn’t treat us the way we treat weaker species.
