How often do you replace your battery that a once-every-3-years trip to Apple Store and paying for service AND parts $59-$139 is such an inconvenience?

I really want a fridge with easily replaceable condenser, washing machine with easily replaceable bearing, and a Subaru with great access to spark plugs... You still live in era of 2003 phones where battery was accessible via a flap, but at the same time you want a top tier computer in your pocket and waterproofing. You people are ridiculous sometimes.

I’ve never had to replace an iPhone battery and I’ve probably owned 20 phones and used and passed on my old ones.

I had about four, 3 of which i replaces the battery for (4, 6, 12). I use them for about 6 years it seems. Onto my 7th year for the 12, just put a new battery, since the charge would only last for about 3 hours.
