You can turn that off, by the way. Settings -> Multitasking and Gestures -> select Full Screen Apps. Just turns all that off. I honestly don't mind it on my Air but on the Mini is just fucking useless as a feature so I know this lol

And they turn it on by default. If Steve Jobs were around, it would have either worked better or it would have been sold better and those in charge kicked in the nuts. Apple's UX team SUCKS these days.

Or at the very least, it would've defaulted to off on the 7-inch model where again, I cannot overemphasize, it is worthless.
