Why do you need archive if you can disable JS for most website?

i can certainly spin one up, use your site visits to DDoS people i dont like, and secretly edit the archived content if you want? apparently that will win me an army of hn defenders.

so fucking strange that people are playing defense for that. even forgetting the DDoS part, people don't care that they are editing archived content? wild.
