Not to mention they'll need far fewer candles cause it'll be light at night. Nobody burns candles during the day, sun's up at night so no need for them, profit.
This made me giggle. Living in Australia，being from a state where we do have DST, we loved to make the joke that Queenslanders (who do not have daylight savings) would enjoy the lack of daylight due to their curtains (drapes for those across the ditch) lasting longer.
