Title makes it sound like Search shrunk, but it's rather everything else grew drastically, especially Cloud. This diversification is generally a good sign, but investors still seem to panic.
Humans are unsettled by fast, drastic changes since it generally signals uncertainty ahead. It's a caveman instinct signaling that someone needs to do much more to find the new normal or navigate some hardship.
